Eik-Sin-Hus

Welcome to Eik-Sin-Hus:-)
We are, Gunilla, Arne my husband, 2 leonbergers and a cat.
We got to grownup boys who have got there own families and we are happy to be grandmother and grandfather to a girl and a boy:-)

The Leonberger have been our breed for 23 years.
Our first leonberger, a female joined our family in 1986. Her name was Fiva`s Lea-Ronja.
Two years later Lady-Be-My- Joy av Lykseth " Jessie " joined the family.
In 1990 we did import a leonberger male from Germany.
His name was Eik von Haus Schlüter and is the reason for our prefix Eik-Sin-Hus.
He was imported in the meaning of a matingpartner for Jessie.
Eik and Jessie become the parents of our first litter.

Eik also made a great success in the show ring:-)
In 1992
He was " Bamsevinner " Top Dog Of The Year (all breeds).
He still is the first and only leonberger in Norway who made this triumph.
The same year he was the Top Winning Leonberger
In 1993 he got the title International Champion.
